Wild Swans by Jung Chang is book for December!

It is December and our selection for the Laid Back Book Club book of the month is Wild Swans by Jung Chang. This is the first book by the author. Her latest book, Mao: The Unknown Story, has gathered praise and generated controversy. This book is a history of China in the Twentieth Century told through the stories of the author, her mother and her grandmother. If you are interested in understanding the Chinese, this would be a wonderful book to read.
