Do you see any Tipping Points?
Is it possible to identify a tipping point before it has reached that point? And if so, is the reward for identifying such a point, a monetary reward? For example, the people who invested in Hush Puppies before they became very popular, most likely made money. On the other hand, if people realized that the crime rate in New York was about to go down, would their reward be monetary?

I think of tipping points are very visable in a neighborhood sense...we all know cruddy places that suddenly became quite nice in the course of a decade. Even locally, we can think of South Norwalk, esp. the Washington Street area. At what point did we see that was going to tip?
Or...there is talk of cleaning up the downtown/West Avenue area right near the library that has had empty storefronts for years. Do we believe whatever they're doing this time will really work? At what point to we believe that we can claim it will "tip"?
