June's book is Forever by Pete Hamill. It is a long book, but it has to be-it is the story of New York City, as well as the story of the main character. Hamill has written often about New York, he was a newspaper reporter and editor for many years in NY. Read this book for the story of Cormac (the main character), but also for the story of New York City.
