Is this book about the author's feelings about men? Or her dependence on men? Not only was her trip the result of a failed marriage and relationship, she comments mostly on the men she meets during her travels-Giovanni, Luca, Richard from Texas. Although she does encounter women and her guru is a woman, she rarely seems to write about women.
