Charlotte

Charlotte is a girl who is faced with many conflicting emotions and feelings. She is growing up, but she is still a child. She is a vegetarian who wonders whether it is wrong to want to have leather shoes. She is the one who shot her father, but she did so when she was impaired by drugs and alcohol. She should be the most anguished and stressed character in the book. Do you think she is? Or do you think that there are other characters who appear to be under more stress than Charlotte?
