Street blogging
Communications during and after Katrina were so disrupted that people resorted to what was termed "street blogging". Signs on houses told the rest of the world whether the residents were there or somewhere else, or expressed the frustration of the homeowners. This reminds me of the signs that used to be visible in the windows of the buildings near to the 125th Street Station (MetroNorth) when those buildings were in disrepair. Those signs were there before we knew about blogging so they couldn't have been termed "street blogging" or "window blogging," but they did express someone's views. What do you think about "street blogging" or about blogging about books?
