Introduction and structure
The author structures the book in a specific way and she explains this in her Introduction. The book is divided into 108 tales, divided into three sections, with 36 tales in each section. She says she does this because her book is structured like a japa mala which has 108 beads. While reading the book, see if you think that this structure helps the book, hurts the book, or really does not have any effect on the book. Do you feel the structure's presence while reading?
