First time?

Is this your first time reading To Kill a Mockingbird? If you did read the book in the past, read it again. The experience of re-reading is completely different from the experience of reading. If you are re-reading To Kill a Mockingbird, why did you decide to re-read it? When did you read it the first time?

I completely agree! Re-reading anything over again, you catch so many more details; it's an entirely different experience, and To Kill a Mockingbird is such a worthwhile story that we should read it again (and again and again!).

I first read it when the story was assigned to me in school. Sometimes when we're assigned books the joy is taken out of reading, but I recall enjoying this story in spite of it being required.

I decided to read it again after seeing the advertising. I am halfway through and it is far richer than I remember. Thank you, so very much! :) -Jan
